Coaching Experience

Three years coaching gymnastics at DeVeau’s

Education

I am an Indiana State certified teacher with a B.S. Physical Education from IUPUI. I’ve been an ABA Therapist for children with Autism and a Teacher for children with special needs. I am Lifeguard certified and work at neighborhood pools. I share my passion for a clean, healthy lifestyle by sharing Arbonne; skincare, hair care, makeup and nutrition that are inspired by nature, enhanced by science and botanically based products.

Gymnastics Experience

I started at a gym in Noblesville when I was three years old. At 8 I started competing gymnastics, and in 1996 I moved to DeVeau’s and competed there for 2 years. My favorite event was beam! My favorite event to coach is bars!

Family Information

My mom and dad, Debbie and Floyd live in Noblesville, as well as my brother Zach. I am engaged to Andy Duvall, and he has three children, Owen 10, Macie 8, and Carly 6.

Why She Loves Teaching Children Gymnastics

  • I started coaching gymnastics because I have the ability to teach basic fundamentals of movement and fitness to anyone, especially kids with disabilities. I inspire and motivate children by progressively teaching skills, modifying movements to have successful gymnastic experiences and increasing their self-esteem. I know that gymnastics opened the door for me to become an athlete, and I want my students to be positive thinkers and lifelong athletes.
  • I love teaching children because I love their energy, the entertaining things they say, and sharing that gymnastics is FUN!

Fun Facts

In my spare time, I like to camp, cook, watch Netflix, crochet, make jewelry, organize, collect antiques, swim, play softball and disc golf, listen to Christian and Class Rock music, visit with my friends, and volunteer in the community. I have volunteered for two years at the Hamilton County Jail for the Sheriff’s Chaplaincy to help women find God and a new way of life.
