Scrip Hours for Thanksgiving Week

Attention Parents:

Scrip desk hours for Thanksgiving week will be:

Tuesday 11/25   5-6

Friday  11/28   4-5

We now have American Express gift cards in $100 denominations.  They are redeemable anywhere American Express is accepted.   We no longer have Bennigans/Ponderosa.

Remember that orders placed by 6 pm Tuesday evenings should be back by Friday.  Order early for the holidays.

Holiday Rec Camp!

DeVeau’s will be hosting a Holiday Rec Camp on Monday, December 29th & Tuesday, December 30th from

9am - 3pm and a Pre-School Camp on Friday, January 2nd from 9am - 12pm.

Our very own, Brian Jones receives an award!

Brian Jones was presented with an award for his Power Kids Program by the Indiana Chapter of the Autism Society of American on November 8, 2008 at the Indianapolis Art Center in Broad Ripple.  The Power Kids Program won the award for its excellence in providing alternative autism therapy.

Power Kids is a “recreational therapy” program that meets once a week like that of a typical program.  It incorporates areas of development, including but not limited to, strength training as well as vestibular (balance) and proprioceptive (body awareness) conditioning.

Students also the opportunity to socialize with fellow peers, as an area of development.  The ultimate goal being integrating them into typical classes.

We are very proud of Brian and his program.  We invite you to witness his success for yourself!!

Level 10 Women’s Professional Picture Retake

Due to several of the Level 10’s being on college visits last Friday, we have scheduled a re-take of the Level 10 picture for this Wednesday, November 19th @ 8pm.  Please wear your competition leo and have your hair up.

Butter Braids have been delivered!!

I want to thank everyone for picking up their Butter Braids!  We tried to have the orders filled as quickly as possible without any errors.  We filled well over 900 Butter Braids!  PLEASE check your order as soon as possible to make sure that it is correct.  I have ordered extra Butter Braids but will not sell them until I know everyone’s order is correct.  Please let me know as soon as possible if you need any changes.

Level 9’s and 10’s attend Forward Progress Camp

Our level 9’s & 10’s attended Forward Progress Camp in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio last weekend.  They really enjoyed it and improved their skills.

No, that is not ice cream they are eating!!!!
