The Summer Camp Extravaganza Experience

Fun is our ultimate goal! At DeVeau’s, campers make new friends, try new things, and learn gymnastics skills from trained coaches in a positive and safe environment.

Your child can spend the summer building self-confidence and a love of learning, with activities that are exciting and age-appropriate.

All our summer camps take place in our 56,000 square foot gym — that means fun is in the forecast, no matter the weather. (heat, rain, etc.)

Summer Camp FAQs

Cotton t-shirts and shorts are appropriate.  Girls may wear leotards if they have them; we also sell them if you would like to purchase one.  The children will go barefoot when they are in the gym but will need shoes for any activities outside the gym.

Your child must be 3 years or older, as well as potty trained to attend camp.

Camp is not the same as a gymnastics class. Gymnastics classes have a smaller student-teacher ratios, are a bit more structured, and we chart the children’s progress. In camp, the children are learning some gymnastics, but it is mostly for fun. The gymnastics skills are incorporated into the games the children play. So no worries if your student does not have any experience.

The summer camp sessions begin promptly at 9 a.m. We do not allow early drop-off. The sessions are over at 3 p.m. We allow a five-minute grace period when picking up your child, and then there is a $15 late fee for every five minutes that you are late.

You may arrive any time during the camp day.

Only the individuals authorized through your completed registration can pick up your child. If there are changes, those need to be sent in writing to activeacademy@deveaus.com.

Your child is welcome to come and try it out. Each child is different, so we can try it once and plan from there. The biggest issue will be whether or not your child can stay with his/her group. This is a safety issue for all of the kids in the gym so that they do not get hurt. We have worked with several special needs children, and if we know that your child is coming it helps us better prepare.

Stay with us for more fun when regular camp is done! Sign up for the whole week or daily, 3-6PM.
