- Started coaching 15 years ago as a freshman in high school
- Started coaching at DeVeau’s this past March
Gymnastics Experience
- I started gymnastics at 7 years old, which segued into competitive cheer throughout middle school and high school.
- I initially started coaching boys gymnastics then switched to girls gymnastics
- Why I love gymnastics: Gymnastics is the perfect avenue for kids to learn valuable life skills regarding discipline, confidence, motivation, responsibility, and handling success and failure which I believe will positively impact them outside of the gym in their future endeavors. As a coach, I love being able to advocate for my students in helping them overcome their fears and achieve their goals.
Education
- B.S. in Psychology & Criminal Justice; M.A. in Criminology & Criminal Justice
Family
- My husband and I love to travel and be outdoors. Some of our favorite places are Chicago and Asheville, NC.
Fun Fact
- When I am not coaching, I spend my time working for a non-profit criminal justice agency conducting research and helping participants to access community resources and treatment.
