Gymnastics Experience
I started gymnastics at the age of 3. When I entered junior high, I started cheering and continued through high school.
Why I Love Gymnastics: Gymnastics is not just about learning to flip and tumble. It teaches these gymnasts unique life lessons. Learning to be self sufficient, responsible, a good listener, a team player, and how to cope with many challenges thrown at them. I learned all of these lessons as a gymnast. My hope is to not only teach good gymnastics but to teach these young gymnasts valuable lessons that they will use for the rest of their lives.
Education
I have a Bachelor of Science in sociology with a minor in psychology from Trinity University in Texas.
Family Information
I have two kids. My son was born in ’02 and my daughter in ’05. I also have a chocolate lab named Wheldon.
Fun Facts
Life is so serious. I love to be silly with the kids and make them laugh. I want them to remember their gymnastics years as fun and as something that they loved.
