Girls Gymnastics Team Tryouts

Ready to take the next step? We’re excited to welcome athletes who are ready to challenge themselves, grow their skills, and become part of the DeVeau’s Team family.

Please review the appropriate tryout below based on your gymnast’s experience.

Tryout #1: Recreational Gymnasts

For athletes currently enrolled in a recreational program

Two-Day Tryout
Saturday, March 21 | 3:00–6:00 PM
Sunday, March 22 | 12:00–4:00 PM

Cost: $75

What to Expect:
This two-day evaluation allows our coaching staff to assess both physical readiness and skill development.

• Day 1: Physical abilities testing

  • Strength

  • Flexibility

  • Ability to follow directions and rotate through stations

• Day 2: Skill evaluation

  • Gymnastics fundamentals

  • Event-specific skill testing

This format gives each athlete the opportunity to demonstrate both athletic potential and technical ability.

Tryout #2: Current Competitive Gymnasts

For athletes currently competing in:

• DP Levels 2–6

• Xcel Bronze–Platinum

Sunday, April 12 | 12:00–4:00 PM

What to Expect:
This tryout will be structured like a team practice. Athletes will participate in:

• Event training

• Conditioning

• Skill assessment

• Strength evaluation

Our coaches will evaluate technique, consistency, strength, coachability, and overall work ethic.

Upper-Level Gymnasts (DP 7–10 & Xcel Diamond/Sapphire)

Athletes competing at DP Levels 7–10 or Xcel Diamond/Sapphire should contact us directly to discuss team placement.
